Canvas

Ideas often result from making new connections. However, today's notetaking apps are all charactersied by an unflexible interface, which prevents us from making those since we are forced to look at one page at a time.

As such, there is a good reason why design tools are all spatial apps with a canvas-like interface:  it allows us to work the way we want to without a rigid logic and thereby unleashes creativity. That's why we invoked spatiality with our canvas at Tyles in order to boost the idea generation process and to simplify the movement of information between different Tyles.

You can open as many Tyles in your canvas as you want:

To arrange: Use drag and drop to move your Tyle around

To resize: Click on any side or corner of your Tyle and drag to make your Tyle bigger or smaller.

You can also speed up the process of resizing by dragging your Tyle to edge or corner of the app, which will then snap into place.

These are the different layouts and how to activate them:

We’d love to hear from you. If you have any questions or ideas, just shoot us a message to hi@tyles.io. Cheers!
