You can click on the Kumasa icon at the top right to open up the extension or define a short cut in your extension settings. Here I can add remarks to my highlight, select or add tags or see my previous highlights.
How to add an extension shortcut
In order to set a shortcut for the Kumasa chrome extension, go to the extensions menu of your Chrome browser. From there, go to "keyboard shortcuts".
How to retrieve information
All your highlights will be saved in the Kumasa Web app. Here you can search for your information by simply clicking yourself through the tags or make use of full-text search.
KUMASA's cards
Probably one of the most exciting feature of Kumasa are the cards. Every highlight that you make will be saved in form of a card – including the URL that take you back to the website. Each card also allows you to add remarks and to define tags. You are also able to see the metadata title.

Kumasa is designed for productivity, which is why a core element within our app is: splitscreen. You can open up to 3 columns next to each other and can define what to display in each column.
Get superpowers with KUMASA
While Kumasa not only allows you to save information blazingly fast, it is also extremely good in connection your research. You can simply drag and drop a card into another card to create a new thought.
The editor
You cannot only drag cards into it and edit things like the annotation or the highlight, but also have several formatting options like creating a heading or bullet points. You can also click on a highlight and four dots will appear at the top right. Now you can drag and drop the highlight.
